President Donald Trump has faced major humiliation after his speech on Tuesday.

The 79-year-old leader faced heckling and saw approximately a dozen representatives exit the chamber during his State of the Union address on Tuesday, February 24.

The annual presidential speech, traditionally delivered at the start of the year, was broadcast live on television as disorder erupted in the US Congress. Even before he approached the podium, tensions were running high, with more than 70 Democrats having declared their intention to skip the address. When he criticized Somali immigrants specifically, Democratic Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar vocally challenged him. It comes as a lip reader revealed Ivanka and Barron’s shocking private chat at the State of the Union as they clashed over a mystery woman.

Omarappeared visibly upset as she repeatedly yelled “liar” whilst Trump announced his plans to launch a “war on fraud,” which he attributed to the Somali immigrant community.

“When it comes to the corruption that is plundering America, there has been no more stunning example than Minnesota – where members of the Somali community have pillaged an estimated $19billion from the American taxpayer,” he said.

Omar reacted furiously to this statement, interrupting with shouts of, “That’s a lie! You’re a liar,” from her seat as he continued his criticism of Somalian immigrants.

“The Somali pirates who ransack Minnesota remind us that there are large parts of the world where bribery, corruption, and lawlessness are the norm, not the exception. Importing these cultures through unrestricted immigration and open borders brings those problems right here to the USA,” Trump said.

Before this incident, Texas Democrat Al Green, a prominent critic of Trump’s, was ejected from the chamber after displaying a sign that read “black people aren’t apes.”

The placard seemed to reference a video the president shared on social media earlier this month that portrayed former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama as apes.

Green had previously been removed from the House chamber during Trump’s State of the Union address last year, when he stood up and shook his cane at the US President during his remarks.

During the address, which became the longest State of the Union speech in at least 60 years, Trump was given a standing ovation from his supporters when he discussed his immigration policies.

He also seized the opportunity to attack his political rivals, declaring, “You should be ashamed of yourself not standing up. You should be ashamed of yourself.

“That is why I am also asking you to end deadly sanctuary cities that protect the criminals and enact serious penalties for public officials who block the removal of criminal aliens, in many cases drug lords, murderers all over our country. “They are blocking the removal of these people out of our country and you should be ashamed of yourself.”
