It was the land of hope and dreams and celebs.

The Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour show Monday, May 11 show at Madison Square Garden in New York City had more than its share of notable attendees.

A few even shook and shouted along with the Boss from the audience.

Actor Tom Hanks was spotted singing along to “Long Walk Home” on social media, and Jon Bon Jovi, with wife Dorothea Bongiovi, swayed to “Badlands.”

Bon Jovi, whose band is scheduled to play nine shows at the Garden in July, has had an inside track on the Springsteen tour. He attended the April 23 show at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, and drove the Boss to a tour rehearsal March 21 at the Ocean Grove Youth Temple in Ocean Grove.

Bon Jovi had some famous faces of the football variety next to him at the show. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and wife Dr. Dana Blumberg, and NFL commissioner Robert Goodell, and wife Jane Skinner Goodell, were in the same row as the Bongiovis.

The Fourth Estate was in the house. Katrina vandenHeuvel, editor and publisher of the Nation, posted several pics from the show on X and Steve Gelbs, the New York Mets field reporter for SNY, blamed the Springsteen show for his delayed report on the slumping Mets bringing up prospect AJ Ewing.

Ewing was brought up when the band was performing “The Rising,” Gelb said.

Sports radio and ESPN personality Christopher “Mad Dog” Russo also made the show, and his presence was noted on Russo’s Instagram page by E Street Band members Anthony Almonte and Ozzie Melendez after the show.

Jessica Springsteen, Bruce’s daughter and an Olympic medal winner for equestrian, attended with friends.

As for musicians, Willie Nile was spotted at the show and legendary Jersey guitarist Al Di Meola was impressed by the concert and the No Kings theme of the night.

“Only recently, through Tom Morello, did I reconnect with Bruce over his words of concern and outrage that resonated deeply with my own heart and soul — speaking out against the blatant criminality, brutality and cruelty of this current administration that is putting us in a far worse place as a nation,” said Di Meola on social media after Monday’s show. “Thank you Bruce for your courage and for taking a stance that I believe resonates with the majority of Americans.”

Springsteen and Di Meola were part of the lineup for the Morello-led Jan. 30 A Concert of Solidarity and Resistance at the First Avenue music venue in Minneapolis. The show raised funds for the families of ICE protesters killed by federal agents.

“Watching Bruce, Tom, Stevie Van Zandt, Nils Lofgren and the E Street Band tonight was a spiritual experience for me,” Di Meola said. “Absolutely unforgettable. It gave me hope in dark times!”

Up next is Thursday, May 14 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and then back to the Garden on Saturday, May 16.
