British woman covered in Eminem tattoos breaks record

Nikki Paterson (UK) is beginning to feel like a ‘tat god’.

From Aberdeen, Scotland, Nikki has now achieved the record title for the most tattoos of the same musician tattooed on the body by getting 15 portraits of the American rapper, Eminem, inked on her body.

“My tattoos have completely changed my life. I am so proud of them,” Nikki said.

She got her first tattoo of Eminem at the age of 19 by picking an image of the rapper from Google.

Other images include the ‘blonde’ Eminem as well as the album covers from Recovery and the Marshall Mathers LP.

Despite the record title only counting portraits, Nikki has multiple other tattoos with The Real Slim Shady connotations.

Nikki has the full list of Eminem’s albums as well as the lyrics to a verse from the song “Til I Collapse” on the back of her thigh.

There are also pictures of Skylar Grey, who has featured on various tracks, and Proof who is Eminem’s best friend.

“The idea of potentially having a record came to me and I thought it would be a lovely celebration of them” – Nikki Paterson

Nikki first heard the song “Stan” on her Walkman when she was 14, while on holiday in Spain with her parents.

The song had an impact on her immediately.

“The way he told a story with the lyrics… it was such an unusual story compared to anything I had heard before.”

EzoicAnd now Nikki has joined her idol in the Guinness World Records archives, with Eminem himself holding multiple record titles.

The Marshall Mathers LP helped Eminem become the fastest-selling rap artist when it sold 1.76 million copies in its first week.

In 2010, he became the first artist to have six solo albums debut at number one on the US Billboard 200 album chart, from The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) to Recovery (2010), earning him the record title for the most successive US No.1 albums by a solo artist.

“Rap God” holds the record for the most words in a hit single (1,560 words in six minutes and four seconds) whereas the 2020 hit “Godzilla” secured Eminem the title for fastest rap in a No.1 single when he squeezed 225 words in a 30-second segment – that’s a staggering 7.5 words per second!

Nikki hopes that one day she will get to see her hero in person: “I really want to meet Eminem and I think this might help!”
