Bad Bunny Wasn’t Chosen for Football Fans

The big new out of the weekend is that the NFL has named Bad Bunny as the halftime show for the Super Bowl coming up in Santa Clara, CA in February and 40-something white men all over the country are losing their minds. Doug reminds those complaining the loudest that the league is intentionally choosing an artist outside of their traditional demographic in order to entice those who don’t normally watch football to tune in.

Doug Gottlieb: “Before you complain about Bad Bunny and you go, ‘I don’t know any of those songs!’ I don’t either. Guess what? They’re not designed for us. It’s not meant for us…Generally the plan is; who can we get that people who don’t traditionally like to watch NFL games will watch?”
