Amy Winehouse’s original band are heading back to London for a special Roundhouse show celebrating the 20th anniversary of Back to Black.

The performance, taking place on December 18, is part of a new UK tour that will see The Amy Winehouse Band perform the iconic album in full.

The Roundhouse holds particular meaning as it is located in Camden, the heart of Amy’s story.

Led by her long-time musical director and bassist Dale Davis, the band includes members who toured and recorded with Winehouse throughout her career.

Mr Davis said: “I can’t believe that it’s the 20th anniversary of Back To Black this year.

“When I congratulated Amy on the success of this incredible album, she said to me, not with any arrogance: ‘I knew what I was doing’, and at that moment, I realised that she knew exactly what she had created.

“It’s still an honour, pleasure and privilege to be performing these songs, from this timeless classic.”

Back to Black, released in 2006, was the album that propelled Winehouse to global fame.

It earned her five Grammy Awards in 2008, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album.

She became the first British woman to win that many awards in a single night.

Mr Davis and the rest of her band performed alongside her at the Grammy Awards and had been with her since her earliest performances in London pubs.

The Amy Winehouse Band has continued to tour in recent years, bringing her music to new audiences.

They completed a sold-out UK tour in 2025 and have performed across Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.

The 2026 UK tour will include dates across the country in October, November, and December.

It will feature a full live performance of Back to Black as well as other classics from Winehouse’s catalogue.

The celebration will continue into 2027, with additional dates planned for Scotland in March.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, February 20 at 10am via Ticketmaster.co.uk.
