Her accounts records show she had £10million in savings and investments, a £2.3million London home, plus £3million in her four companies.
And record industry experts predict those accounts could triple, with 50,000 of her albums already being sold since her death – more than in the first six months of the year. Dad Mitch and mum Janis are set to put cash into an Amy Winehouse Foundation to “help those struggling with substance abuse”.
Mitch wants Labour MP Keith Vaz, who chairs the Commons home affairs committee, to help found it. And MPs are to re-examine treatment for addicts after Mitch told the committee two years ago there were not enough places.
