Professional wrestler Adam Page slammed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) ads playing during the October 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, urging his fans to take action.
“F**k ice airing commercials during dynamite, let em know,” Page, 34, wrote on Bluesky.
ICE has garnered criticism amid the Trump administration’s push to crack down on illegal immigration.
The advertisements pushing the ICE agenda contrast with what more progressive viewers of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) typically support. AEW’s culture appears to be pro-free speech, with President Tony Khan previously stating that he supports wrestlers expressing their personal views, including Page.
This is not the first time AEW wrestlers have voiced opinions on immigration enforcement during major events. Wrestler Brody King previously sparked discussion by wearing an “Abolish ICE” shirt at AEW Grand Slam in June.

What To Know
During the Wednesday episode of AEW Dynamite aired on TBS, audience members reported that commercials promoting ICE ran during nearly every ad break. Shortly after the broadcast, Page, known as “Hangman,” posted a blunt message on Bluesky, stating, “f*** ice airing commercials during dynamite, let em know,” and providing direct links for fans to register complaints with both TBS and HBO Max, which air AEW programming.
AEW, as a content producer, does not directly control the advertising selected for its timeslot. Instead, these decisions are generally made by broadcast or streaming platforms, in this case, TBS, HBO Max, and their parent companies, Warner Bros. Discovery.
Newsweek reached out to Warner Bros. Discovery for comment via email.
The post has largely received a positive response from Page’s fans online.
“Thank you so much for speaking up Hangman. You have solidified that you are my champion for numerous reasons,” one reply on Bluesky said.
Another fan wrote: “People like you are the main reason AEW is awesome. Never change champ!”
Page follows fellow wrestler King in voicing criticism against ICE. After his much-talked-about AEW Grand Slam appearance, King began selling “Abolish ICE” T-shirts online, with proceeds going to the charity Local Hearts Foundation, “to help families impaced by ICE raids,” he wrote on Instagram. He ultimately raised nearly $30,000.
What People Are Saying
AEW President Tony Khan, in September: “It’s really important to note that the wrestlers in AEW are presented very much so as their authentic selves. In the case of Brody King and Hangman Page, that’s who those guys are. That’s them being themselves.”
What Happens Next
Neither TBS nor Warner Bros. Discovery has issued a public response regarding the ad placements or the outcry from both talent and viewers.
Adam Page’s social media post indicates that his next championship defense against Samoa Joe will occur at the upcoming WrestleDream event.
