Paramount has dropped the official trailer for its upcoming Street Fighter film, directed by Kitao Sakurai and based on the iconic Capcom franchise.
The studio, alongside Legendary Entertainment, unveiled the high-energy footage ahead of its presentation at CinemaCon, where the film will be showcased to theater executives. Street Fighter is set to hit theaters on October 16.

Originally launched in 1987, Street Fighter centers on intense one-on-one combat between a diverse roster of martial artists. The storyline often revolves around a global tournament orchestrated by M. Bison, the head of the villainous organization Shadaloo. The trailer leans into that premise, delivering a mix of ’80s-inspired style and nonstop fight sequences.
