Ahead of his performance at the Super Bowl later today, Post Malone has shared an insight into his family life with his two-year-old daughter.

The 29-year-old rapper , whose full name is Austin Richard Post, hasn’t shared the names of fiancée and his child publicly – but praised them for changing his life “in the best way ever.” As he prepares to perform in New Orleans on Sunday, Post Malone said of his daughter, “She’ll be three in May, so she’s [thumbs up gesture]. Next year, she’s gonna get to see a Cowboys Super Bowl.”

The Sunflower singer, who has his daughter’s initials – DDP – tattooed on his forehead, previously said of fatherhood, “It changes your life in the best way ever. And the most beautiful thing is, she has a beautiful mom.”

In an interview with E! News , Post said he is constantly craving family time. In a 2023 interview with Apple Music, the rapper had said, “Having a baby really put a lot into perspective, and it’s really slowed me down a lot, party-wise, going out and being crazy. I never really got time or really had the bandwidth to experience the journey to its fullest. So I guess that’s what I’m trying to do now.”

“I really love hanging out with my baby, hanging out with the lady, playing video games and in my garage working on projects,” he continued. “That’s what I love to do.”

The chart-topping star was announced as the headliner for this years Super Bowl YouTube Tailgate Concert last week. NFL took to X, formerly Twitter , sharing the exciting news that Post would be leading the LIX YouTube Tailgate Concert, which is the league’s ultimate pregame party. The upcoming show featuring the I Had Some Help hitmaker will be live-streamed exclusively on YouTube today at 4pm ET just before the big game kicks off.

The concert will take place just next door to Caesars Superdome and will mark the first year YouTube will be the official sponsor of the pregame. Malone’s high-energy concert will be the perfect way for fans to gear up for the biggest NFL game of the year.

Fans shared their excitement online after the rapper was announced as the headliner of the show. One fan wrote, “Don’t quote me but this is low-key better than the actual Halftime Show.” Another agreed, “He’s much better than your halftime performer.” And a third joked, “Music is gonna be better than the game.” Another satisfied fan replied, “Good pick by the NFL.”

Post was chosen for the prestigious slot after the huge success of his debut country album F-1 Trillion, which dropped in August of 2024. Country fans welcomed Malone into the genre with open arms and his project was an instant hit, landing at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. His album featured collaborations with a number of country music legends including Dolly Parton, Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, and Luke Combs.

He has also been announced as one of the 2025 Coachella headliners this year. This spring, Post is headed out to the desert to perform at the two-weekend festival alongside chart-topping singers Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Travis Scott.
