John Rich Says He Got Into A “Tussle” With Kanye West Years Back: “He Was A Punk Then, He’s A Punk Now”

Calling out Kanye.

If you haven’t been on the internet much over the last few days, you might have been lucky enough to avoid seeing Kanye West going off the rails on Twitter or X, whichever you prefer.

After his “stunt” at the Grammy Awards where Ye’s wife, Bianca Censori, caused a scene when she removed her giant fur jacket to reveal a see-through “custom couture” dress, the internet has had Kanye on their lips. Censori led to a lot of press from news outlets, including ourselves, covering everything from the public alleging they were escorted off the red carpet to her second see-through outfit of the night at the Grammy after party and the fact that Censori showed some level of discomfort during the red carpet display.

The Yeezy founder began posting on Twitter after the red carpet stunt, sharing polaroids from the night of the “invisible dress” and showing affection toward his wife. However, the Tweets became unhinged and quickly. About four days after the Grammy stunt, Ye started going off on the app, and he has not slowed down one bit.

And his Tweets are far from appropriate. To share posts like he admires Hilter, outward hate speech toward Jews, campaigning to free Diddy , dogging on people who are overweight, and most recently posting videos of adult content on the app, I’m pretty sure he’s violated nearly all community guidelines at this point, but somehow still has access to share his thoughts.

The internet has been begging Ye to put the phone down or for Elon to take action and block his account.

However, as I write this blog, I still can see his Tweets. However, when you search Kanye’s account, nothing comes up, so maybe he’s finally on his way to that point. Given the horrid things he’s posted over the last few days, it’s shocking that it’s taken this long to address them.

The man is clearly not okay.

Due to his multi-day rampage, many other prominent social media accounts are speaking up on the matter, noting that this is not okay. One of those folks is John Rich.

If you know anything about the Big & Rich member then you know that John Rich will say what’s on his mind. He’s firm in his conservative beliefs and will voice them along with calling out folks on the internet for hiding their beliefs to please their fans or those with different viewpoints.

To share his thoughts on Kanye, John Rich shared a story about getting into an altercation with the rapper back in 2004, highlighting that he’s always been a bad person.

“I remember getting into a tussle with Kanye at the American Music Awards when he sh*t-talked Gretchen Wilson for winning an award he thought he should have won.

He was a punk then, he’s a punk now. Time to turn off his X account based on what he posted today.”

Putting him in his place.

A few people responded to Rich, saying that he could block Ye, but Rich feels that he needs to be obliterated from the platform at this point- especially after sharing so many posts of adult content.

Kanye has been a polarizing figure for many years, with some deeming him a genius and others a madman. Whichever side you are on, there is one clear thing we can all agree on: Kanye’s Twitter rant was utterly inappropriate, and he said horrible things about a lot of people… pretty sure he just ended his career.

At this point, someone needs to get Kanye to put the phone down…
