Max Verstappen‘s 2024 season was engulfed in controversies.
The Dutch driver was at odds with the FIA over a ban on swear words, and even made some aggressive on-track moves. Verstappen’s latest fallout happened with George Russell at the Qatar GP. However, the 27-year-old is ready to move on.
At the F1 75 event in London, Max Verstappen made it clear that he was not interested in continuing any beef to the upcoming season. He insisted that he was more focused on enjoying his time in the sport ahead of the start of the 2025 campaign. Additionally, the Dutch driver affirmed that he had nothing to say on the past fallout with George Russell.
Honestly, I have no intention to continue any kind of beef in February. I’m still enjoying my time away Formula 1 and just getting ready for the season, so I have honestly nothing to say about that subject.
George Russell has ‘no concerns’ over Max Verstappen fallout
George Russell gave a similar response to the media. The British driver pointed out that he had no conversation with Verstappen about the incident since. Moreover, Russell asserted that he had no concerns over the Dutchman and he was focused on his campaign for this year.

Verstappen and Russell seem determined to let the past go and focus on their respective campaigns this year. It is like that Red Bull and Mercedes will battle one another consistently in the tight battle at the front. As such, fans can expect similar incidents to take place between the two drivers in the coming season.
