REPORT: Multiple Philadelphia Eagles Players Are Battling Nasty Illness Just Days Before The Super Bowl

The Philadelphia Eagles are trying to get revenge on the Kansas City Chiefs after the two teams first met in Super Bowl 57.
Things just became much harder for them after the recent news.
Multiple Eagles players, including Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jalen Carter, are dealing with an illness just days before Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans, La.
Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson told The Philadelphia Inquirer that he knew of four or five players on the team dealing with the flu or a flu-related illness.
Carter was forced to miss practice Wednesday due to an illness and was not present at the team’s media sessions.
Eagles rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell, who has laryngitis, missed Wednesday’s media availability, while second-year linebacker Nolan Smith was dealing with an illness this past week.
With the flu-related illness being passed around, many Philadelphia Eagles officials have been wearing masks in the lead-up to the Super Bowl in New Orleans.
The last thing you need is for this illness to spread even more before the season’s biggest game.
Philadelphia Eagles Get Much Needed Update On Jalen Carter
Multiple Eagles players are dealing with an illness this week, three days ahead of Super Bowl LIX.
Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter was limited in practice and missed media availability on Wednesday because of an illness.
Fortunately, things have gotten better for him.
On Friday, ESPN insider Adam Schefter reported that Carter returned to practice as a full participant on Thursday and appears ready to go for the Super Bowl.
“He was sick, but he was back to being a full participant in practice yesterday. And he is going to be out there,” Schefter said. “And I was told to use that word he’s “fine.” Not an issue.
“And again, the fact that he was upgraded from limited practice earlier in the week to full practice now, tells you that he will be out there.”
