Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky may finally be selling the home they once shared during their marriage.

On the latest edition of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Richards, 56, revealed that she and her estranged husband, 54 — who PEOPLE confirmed were separating in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage — are getting close to deciding what to do with their family home.

“Obviously, we have lived together more than half of our lives and it’s hard to just cut that cord,” said Richards.

The RHOBH star said that while they have yet to file for divorce, they have begun actively discussing what to do with their property.

“We have had more conversations about, ‘What should we do, should I still live where I’m living? Should we sell the house and each go buy two new homes? Or do we keep the house because it is such a special property and just each go our different ways?’ ” said Richards.

“We’re discussing those things now, which we did not before,” she added.

Richards and Umansky are parents to daughters Alexa, 28, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 16. The reality star is also mom to daughter Farrah Brittany, 36, from her first marriage to ex Guraish Aldjufrie.

Last May, Richards said that the two were no longer living together, revealing that Umansky had moved out of their family home while she was out of town.

In December, she shared that even though he had invited her to visit him in the condo that he is now living at, she had yet to do so. The television personality noted, however, that “he comes to visit.”

Although the topic of their family home is new, Richards said on the latest edition of The RHOBH After Show that they are “still getting along and being able to be good friends while we’re doing that.”

“I don’t think there is a blueprint for exactly how this has to be done. I find myself being oddly protective and defensive of him because people want to say things about him, thinking it would make me happy,” she said. “I’m like, ‘You don’t know how we work, we’re good.’ “
