Ella Langley Came Across A Special Find While Packing Up Her House To Move: The Last $100 She Ever Made From A Tip Jar

We’ve been talking a lot about Ella Langley lately, following her seemingly meteoric rise in country music over the past year or so. But her latest TikTok is a great reminder of just how much work she’s put in to to get to where she is today.

In the video, Ella is standing in front of the camera by her garage with a bunch of packed-up boxes as she’s moving out of her house. She’s also holding a bundle of cash, which she says is something she had been looking for. But this cash has special meaning to her: The stack of one dollar bills was the last bit she saved up from a tip jar.

Ella explains how she used to save up in increments of 100, and how she wanted to spend the money many times, but followed her rules of saving:

“This, you might be wondering what this is. Is it just normal money? Yes. But to me, no. To me, this is the last hundred dollars I made in tip jar.”

It’s crazy to think that not that long ago, Ella was singing at open-mic nights in Nashville and playing for tips. With her voice, she would definitely be stopping me in my tracks if I saw her singing for some cash.

“You don’t know the amount of times that I have wanted to spend this one hundred dollars and needed to spend this one hundred dollars and did not do it because I had faith in myself. And it paid off, I’m really happy I still have this”

For any aspiring artist, that’s about as real as it gets. She captioned it “Really have been *trusting the process” and the fans are showing nothing but support in the comments saying:

Some fans are making fantastic points, that the lucky one dollar bills need to be on display with her CMA award and platinum album. She is a songwriter first, a powerhouse vocalist second, and a hard worker who clearly isn’t afraid to put in the work.

It’s fitting that this moment comes right as Ella teases her new song, a collaboration with Ms. Miranda Lambert that she just debuted in Texas. Now talk about some country music queens right now.

I think this video is hitting different because of the testament to her hard work and patience. Personally, I would never be able to just let a free one hundred dollars sit around instead of spending as soon as gas gets low, but she didn’t, she kept it as a symbol of her hustle.

And now, she definitely doesn’t need a tip jar anymore.
