Country Singer Leaps off Stage After Nickelback’s Sound Guy Tries To Boot His Dad From Festival

Gavin Adcock Shares New Song "Never Call Again"

Gavin Adcock is standing up for his family. In a post to TikTok, the country singer called out Nickelback’s sound guy for his behavior.

The incident occurred at Rock the Country in Anderson, South Carolina. Things went down during Adcock’s set at the concert, where Nickelback also performed.

“On this week’s episode of dips**t of the week is Nickelback’s sound guy,” Adcock said in his TikTok video. “My family had been standing there for 17 songs. I watched them the whole show, not causing any problems.”

“You come up and get in my family’s face, trying to get my dad kicked out? And you know what? I got you kicked out,” he continued. “The police drug you out on top of your head, you bum. Congratulations, dude. Nickelback’s sound guy’s a real winner.”

Video from the concert itself showed Gavin Adcock leaping off the stage to confront Nickelback’s team member.

“Hey, let me tell you something real quick,” Adcock said as he made his way through the crowd, towards the sound guy. “Hey buddy, you’re gonna lose your god**mn job you stupid a** bum, you better f**k off back there.”

When Adcock got back to the stage, he told fans what prompted his outburst.

“That was my daddy right there, and that f**king stupid f**ker in the backwards hat right there was giving him a hard time, so f**k you, f**ker,” Adcock said. “[When] I get done with this set I’m gonna come out there and give you a piece of my mind, you piece of s**t.”

With that, Gavin Adcock moved on and began singing. Fan-shot video from the concert appeared to show the sound guy in question being handcuffed and taken away by police.

Gavin Adcock Calls Out Beyoncé

Adcock is known to be outspoken. Recently, the singer made headlines for delivering multiple rants against Beyoncé, during which he claimed that she and her GRAMMY-winning album, Cowboy Carter, should not be classified as country music.

“That s**t ain’t country music,” Adcock told the crowd during a concert, “and it ain’t never been country music, and it ain’t never gonna be country music.”

He doubled down on his stance in an Instagram post, stating in part, “It doesn’t sound country. It doesn’t feel country. I just don’t think that people who have dedicated their whole lives to this genre and lifestyle should have to compete or watch that album just stay at the top just because she’s Beyoncé.”

Beyoncé never addressed the situation. As for Adcock, he moved on to criticize Zach Bryan after the singer’s negative exchange with a fan.
