In Hollywood, everybody seemingly dates everyone. There are so many co-stars who fall in love, celebrities who get engaged half a dozen times, and more. Honestly, it’s hard to keep track, and oftentimes, we forget about some A-list couples. However, at the 2025 Super Bowl , halftime show performer Kendrick Lamar reminded everybody something: Serena Williams and Drake allegedly used to date.

If you missed the show, Lamar obviously sang his diss track “Not Like Us” about Drake, and had Williams come onto the stage with him to dance. Now that is some petty goodness that the internet can’t get enough of. However, this is the first time many fans even figured out that Williams and Drake seemingly dated. In fact, they allegedly dated on and off for four years!

Before Williams married her longtime love, Alexis Ohanian , she dated Drake. Now, it seems like literally no one can pinpoint how long they were together, with some claiming they got together in 2010, while others claimed 2011. Other outlets also claimed they dated on and off from 2011 to 2015. Back in 2011, Drake tweeted at Williams, and it all started from there.

“Serena briefly dated Drake around 2011 and even though it didn’t end that well, they have remained friends since,” one insider said to Page Six , so it may have only been a few months-long fling.

In 2015, he was seen supporting her at a tennis match, but by the end of that year, they had seemingly called it quits. However, the following year, he name-dropped her in a video for his song “Too Good.”

It’s unclear how long they were together, but everyone is convinced they definitely dated. However, it’s clear they aren’t on good terms since she was dancing to a Grammy -winning diss track about him at the Super Bowl.
