Travis Kelce changes his mind on Donald Trump

Before the Super Bowl, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said it would be a “great honor” to have United States President Donald Trump at the big game. However, after some recent comments Trump made about his girlfriend, it sounds like Kelce has changed his mind in that regard.

Travis Kelce was asked about the possibility of Donald Trump attending the game ahead of the Super Bowl, and he seemed to have a pretty positive view of it.

“That’s awesome; it’s a great honor,” Kelce told reporters. “I think, you know, no matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life. And having the president there, you know, it’s the best country in the world. So, that’d be pretty cool.”

However, it seems like Kelce has changed his mind and might now wish Trump had stayed home after what happened and what Donald Trump had to say about her.

Early in the game, Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift was shown on the videoboard in the stadium. However, instead of cheers, she was met with a chorus of boos from the crowd.

Donald Trump, who was also at the game and received a much more enthusiastic welcome from the fans, decided to take a jab at Swift on social media.

“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social .

It seems this post from Trump did not sit well with Kelce.

An insider close to Kelce revealed to The Daily Mail that Kelce was not pleased with Trump’s comments.

“Travis believes that it was unnecessary for Trump to take a dig at her especially after he voiced that he was honored for a president to be there,” the insider told The Daily Mail .

Clearly, Kelce is now singing a different tune.
