For Mother’s Day 2025, Audrey McGraw, the youngest daughter of country superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, posted an old video of her mom talking about first breaking into show business, complete with home video footage of Hill fishing.

In the video, Hill talks about her country music ambitions, saying she’s no different from any other country girl except that she wants to be a singer.

“I’m not different from anybody else. I just happen to want to be a singer. Not different from any other dreamer out there. I’m just a country girl that happens to sing. I’m just so excited, I mean, I can’t even tell you how excited I am. It just doesn’t feel real yet, you know? I waited for this all my life. I’m ready to go,” said Hill in the undated video.

“I love McDonald’s and I love Wendy’s and I love Frostees and chocolate. I love all that junk food. Potato chips and dip, I eat ’em all the time. But I guarantee a year from now I’ll be saying salads are my favorite,” said Hill with a laugh.

In the comments, fans cannot get over the footage of Hill at such a young age.

“One of my favorite interviews, love your sweet mama! Happy Mother’s Day, Faith!❤️,” wrote one fan.

Another added, “I will never get over this video❤️ love it so much.”

“Omgashhh I love this so Audrey! The frosteees,” wrote a third fan.

A fourth fan chimed in with, “Such a cutie! Best mother in the land ❤️.”

The video is not dated, and we aren’t sure what it’s from (a YouTube search is no help), but Hill’s first studio album was released in October 1993, and its debut single, “Wild One,” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Charts in early 1994, so it is probably from right around then. Hill would go on to have nine more No. 1 country hits with either her solo singles or duets with her husband, McGraw.

McGraw and Hill married in 1996 and have three daughters — Gracie, 28, Maggie, 26, and Audrey, 23.
