Miranda Lambert is saying goodbye to two beloved animals on her farm.

On Friday, Nov. 20, the country music superstar had to say goodbye to her two miniature horses, Sugar Pie and Adrianna. She announced the difficult news to Instagram, where she was met with an abundance of sympathetic messages from her followers.

In her emotional Instagram post on Friday evening, Lambert shared a montage of photos featuring her two sweet minis, both of whom she has had for nearly 20 years.

“My sweet little nuggets Sugar Pie and Adrianna crossed over the rainbow bridge today. 🌈” the 42-year-old “Wranglers” singer wrote in the caption. “I’ve had 18 years with these littles and I can’t tell you how much joy they brought me.”

Lambert continued, “The best part about being an animal mom is the joy. The worst part is when the time comes to say goodbye.”

“Full of gratitude for them and for Tommy, Julia and Sarah and everyone who helped take care of them and give them the best life when I was on the road all these years,” added the country songstress, who owns a sprawling 400-acre farm in Tennessee with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.

Sharing a final message to her late pets, Lambert added, “Godspeed little bitty’s. I know you are both in greener pastures as I type this.”

“I’ll see y’all again one day. Big love 🩵🐴🐴🥲💔,” her caption concluded.

The “Kerosene” artist was met with an outpouring of sympathetic messages on the post, including one comment that read, “All horses go to heaven. So sorry Ran.🐴🪽”
