Morgan Wallen has been releasing songs from his forthcoming album I’m the Problem since last year.
He’s been teasing the project since earlier this year. He has been slowly sharing singles, snippets of songs, and details about the new project. Today (March 20), he finally shared the news that fans have been waiting for. The new album has an official release date.

Wallen took to social media earlier today to share the big news with his fans and followers. “My new album I’m the Problem will be out May 16,” he wrote in the post. “Preorder available tonight at midnight ET with two new songs,” he added. The “Whiskey Glasses” singer will release “I’m a Little Crazy” and “Just in Case” tonight.
Wallen shared a snippet of “Just in Case” last Friday along with the announcement that he had finished the album. This announcement stoked fans’ excitement even more than his previous samples and single releases. He promised “big news” for this week and delivered on that promise today.
Morgan Wallen Prepares to Release I’m the Problem
Morgan Wallen has been sharing songs from I’m the Problem for nearly a year. He released “Love Somebody” as the first single from the record in July. Between summer and the end of the year, he shared two more songs–“Lies, Lies, Lies,” and “Smile.” Then, in January, he revealed tha album’s title and shared the title track. Since then, he has given fans previews of several other tracks form the album.
While it’s unclear how many tracks the new album will contain, Wallen has shared samples of a handful of songs since releasing “I’m the Problem” in January. He shared snippets of both singles he plans to release tonight, “I’m a Little Crazy” and “Just in Case.” He also shared “Superman,” a song he wrote for his son, which might be the most vulnerable track in his deep catalog of songs.
The new release comes on the heels of breaking a major chart record and receiving the CMA Entertainer of the Year Award. With the runaway success of his last two releases, the new album is set to make major waves.
