Our One Direction senses are tingling, folks. Something is in the works, but we just can’t figure out what.

We can all cast our minds back to that fateful day in March 2015 (over a decade ago, need we remind you), when Zayn Malik took it upon himself to sensationally quit the band.

But now look who is kicking his heels and has come crawling back…

Per The Sun, Zayn has ‘rejoined’ One Direction, as he has once again been named a director in the band’s company, PPM Music Limited.

The 32-year-old had his role terminated on June 20, 2016; however, as of November 3, new documents listed with Companies House reveal he’s been listed as an ‘Active Director’ alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.

Each of the band members has the same address in central London listed as their address — the address of Lee and Thompson LLP, a leading law firm that specialises in music and media law.

A source told the publication: ‘This is a huge moment. While heartbreaking, Liam [Payne]’s passing has brought them together, it’s even more sad [as] he was the biggest cheerleader of a reunion.’

‘PPM was the original company they set up when they appeared on the show. The name stands for Princess Park Manor, the private gated complex they were moved into when they won the show.’

The source added that Louis, Harry, Niall, and Zayn ‘have been in contact’ since Liam’s tragic October 2024 passing.

It comes after reports that Louis and Zayn have inked a multi-million-pound deal for a Netflix show. The pair are set to embark on a road trip across the US, and filming has already begun!

It’s expected that the former bandmates will discuss their lives and memories of being in the biggest boyband in the world, and if you thought it was already going to tug on your heartstrings, Louis and Zayn will more than likely discuss their tragic best friend and bandmate, Liam.
