Behind Justin Bieber’s $31.5 Million Debt
Justin relied on Hailey’s company to pay the $31.5 million settlement. The terms of the settlement stated that the singer was allowed to defer payments until the deal was finalized in May.
A source close to TMZ revealed a special clause in the multi-million dollar debt repayment agreement between Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun. Specifically, Justin will be able to postpone debt repayment until Hailey completes the billion-dollar contract between Rhode and elf Beauty that took place in May. This can be understood as Hailey helping Justin pay off the debt.
Based on information from an independent audit, TMZ said the debts include $26 million – Scooter paid through Hybe company to AEG because Justin canceled the Justice tour. Next is $11 million – commission Justin owes Scooter. In addition, the male singer also owes his former manager $8 million in other commissions, but Scooter waived this amount.
Ultimately, under the terms of the deal, Justin Bieber only had to pay Hybe about $31.5 million . The amount included $26 million and half of the $11 million in royalties.

Also according to TMZ , the Yummy singer has no money to pay off his debts, depending entirely on the deal between Rhode and elf Beauty. It is known that Justin is also an investor and relies on the money from selling shares. It is estimated that the male singer will earn 50 million USD , enough to pay off the debt of 31.5 million USD .
In addition to paying off his debt, Justin Bieber received more good news because the agreement helped him regain the copyrights of many songs that made his name.
Last month, Scooter confirmed his current relationship with Justin: “I think at some point, he wants to prove that he can do it on his own. When you become a grown man, you want to prove to the world that you can stand on your own.”
In the documentary TMZ Investigates: What Happened to Justin Bieber , the singer is said to have sold the rights to 300 of his songs to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for $200 million because he was on the brink of bankruptcy. It all started when Justin canceled his Justice tour due to health issues.
With a large sum of money in hand, Justin Bieber became a paradox when he could not pay his debts. Regarding this, TMZ said that he spent on many areas such as real estate, renting private planes, luxury travel and paying salaries to managers, accountants, lawyers…
