It’s been one exciting year for engagements, from Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to Elsa Hosk and Tom Daly just this morning. With each passing star-studded proposal, anticipation of all the stunning weddings that will unfold only grows. Gomez so generously threw fans a bone by finally spilling some details about her upcoming nuptials—including the surprising A-lister who will serve as her ring bearer.

Last night, the Rare Beauty founder joined her Only Murders in the Building costars Martin Short and Steve Martin for a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“It’s wonderful, I’m very lucky. It’s going well, I’m so excited,” she said of the wedding planning. When asked if Short and Martin would be in attendance, she cheekily replied, “Of course they are. Marty’s the ring bearer.”

Short jokingly acted out how he would do his job, kneeling before Gomez with a hand in the air saying, “Here’s your ring, Selena. Take it!”

“We are all so excited because we love this lady and we love her fiance, Bad Bunny,” Short joked again, eliciting a roaring laugh from the audience. “Benny Blanco!” Gomez fired at Short.

Martin got in on the joke, quipping, “That’s two different people?” “Yeah, completely, kind of the same,” Short concluded.

Short may not be the only unexpected star in the wedding. When Gomez announced her engagement on Instagram back in December, Swift jokingly commented, “Yes I will be the flower girl.”

But, really, it appears Short couldn’t be happier for his friend and costar. He gushed about the actress while appearing on Amy Poehler’s podcast, “Good Hang.” “I just adore her. I’m so happy that she’s getting married to this fabulous guy, Benny Blanco, who’s just one of the great, cool guys and funny and loose, and she adores him. I’m just thrilled for her happiness, and I’m thrilled to get to work with her.”
