Author of ‘secretly giving birth to Elon Musk’s child’ says she has financial difficulties

Who Is Ashley St. Clair? All About the Fourth Woman to Welcome a Child with Elon Musk

Author Ashley St. Clair says she had a difficult year finding a job and was about to be evicted after getting into a child support dispute with billionaire Elon Musk.

On X on August 18, Ashley St. Clair posted a 30-minute video announcing that this was the first episode of her Bad Advice podcast series . The 26-year-old beauty updated her current situation: “After a year of self-destructing my career, making many choices that were not necessarily right, and leaving a gap in my LinkedIn profile that could not be legally explained , I decided to start a podcast.” LinkedIn is a world-famous job-searching and career-connecting social network.

“It wasn’t because someone asked me to, but probabilistically speaking, I should be in this program, or doing MLM. So here we are,” Ashley St. Clair added. She later said she was about to be “evicted” and a platform offered her $10,000 to read an ad.

The author also discusses a number of other current issues, advising viewers to take her advice seriously. “I didn’t start this because I thought I had wise opinions. In fact, I think I have a lot of bad thoughts, so people should take what I say as a cautionary tale,” she added.

Ashley did not mention billionaire Elon Musk and later deleted the video. International news sites contacted her and the “tech mogul” but have not received a response.

This is Ashley St. Clair’s latest move in the case of her “secretly giving birth to Elon Musk’s child” in February. The baby, named Romulus, with the initials RSC, was born in September 2024 in New York. Ashley is currently suing Mr. Musk for sole custody of the child. In March, she accused the billionaire of financial retaliation against her son, unilaterally cutting off support.

Elon Musk denied the X report, saying he paid her $2.5 million and sent her $500,000 in child support every year despite not being sure if he was the father. Ashley responded to his comment: “We asked you to confirm paternity through a test before the baby (whom you named) was born. And you didn’t send me any money. You only sent me child support that you thought was necessary until you cut off most of it to punish me for being disobedient. But you’re really just punishing your son.”

In an interview with WSJ in April, she said she turned down Elon Musk’s offer of $15 million to keep the birth of her child a secret.

Ashley St. Clair, born in 1999, is a children’s author of Elephants Are Not Birds (2023). In addition to her writing career, she is known as a conservative, with over a million followers on X. She has also appeared on television channels, participated in podcasts, and online shows to discuss the topic of declining birth rates in wealthy countries.

In addition to St. Clair’s children, Elon Musk has 13 children with three other women. He welcomed his first child with his first wife, Justine Wilson, in 2002, but the baby died at 10 weeks old. The couple had five more children before divorcing in 2008. He had three more children after dating singer Grimes in 2018. Elon Musk is currently dating Neuralink startup CEO Shivon Zilis . They have four children together, including twins who were born a few weeks before Grimes welcomed her second child. Zilis announced on February 28 that she is expecting her fourth child with Musk, but did not disclose when the child was due.
