Riley Green recently revealed his crush during an appearance of “Taste of Country Nights,” and no, it’s not another country star

Riley Green may have broken some hearts recently. The “There Was This Girl” singer made an appearance on “Taste of Country Nights,” where he admitted to having a crush on Norah Jones.

The conversation began when Riley was asked who, or what, he’s been listening to lately. He quickly responded with Jones’ early-2000s hit “Don’t Know Why,” before detailing how that’s led him to have a crush on the soulful 46-year-old.

“I watch the videos of her singing that — she was sharp, man,” Green said. “Yeah, I got a crush.”

Unfortunately for Green, he has no chance with Jones. She’s been married to Pete Remm since 2014. The couple has two children together. So, while Green is crushing from afar, his interest isn’t going to take him any further.

Fortunately for Green, he’s deemed to be one of the most eligible bachelors in the country music scene. He should have no problem in the love department, assuming he’s open to a relationship. Of course, he might need to get past his current crush before exploring his options. Otherwise, he might struggle to become fully invested.

Riley Green Has Dated Country Singers Before

While Jones isn’t from the world of country music, two of Green’s exes, or at least, rumored exes, are part of his ecosystem. He has previously been rumored to have dated Ella Langle and Megan Moroney, both rising stars within the country scene.

However, neither relationship was ever confirmed. Instead, everyone just assumed they had taken place. It’s Green’s willingness to keep tight-lipped about his love life that makes his admission about Jones even more interesting. If he hasn’t spoken up about dating not one, but two of the biggest rising stars on the scene, why would he be willing to divulge his crush, especially when she’s a married woman?

Nevertheless, Green will likely remain a hot commodity on the dating scene. He’s humble, down to earth, and was recently voted as the 2025 Sexiest Country Star by People. Green will have no shortage of suitors, just don’t expect to hear much about it when he eventually finds himself a new girlfriend.
