Riley Green Admits He 'Could Do A Lot Better' Being Romantic on Valentine's Day

Riley Green isn’t the most romantic guy in the world, but at least he admits it. The singer-songwriter knows he could use a little help, especially on Valentine’s Day

“I would say there’s probably a lot of room for improvement in my Valentine’s Day/romantic evening type,” Green admits. “Of course, with as much as I’m on the road now, it’d be tough for me to be in a relationship with anybody. But I bet I could probably do a lot better in the holiday/girlfriend department.”

Green isn’t in a relationship, but he’s been rumored to be involved with not one but two female country stars. After Green released two songs with Ella Langley, including their recent “You Look Like You Love Me,” dating rumors swirled that he and Langley were an item.

More recently, fans suspected he was dating Megan Moroney, after some thought they were vacationing together. Unfortunately, the artist he finds most attractive in country music — Carrie Underwood — is already happily married.

“Worst Way”

Green might not be romantic in real life, but he knows how to be in his music. Green just released a steamy video for his latest single, “Worst Way.” The song, from his 2024 Don’t Mind If I Do album, instantly resonated with his fans.

“I’d written a song and recorded years earlier called ‘When She Comes Home Tonight’ that always stood out in my live shows,” Green says. “It’s kind of that type of song. So, I think I played it and put it on social media maybe, just to video of it, and it blew up. The reaction to it and a lot of those kind of comments – some inappropriate comments as well.

“I think maybe I had like a bag in the background and there was a big thing about whether it was somebody’s purse,” he continues. “It gave it a whole ‘nother life, so it’s been really cool to see a song do that much on its own. It’s one of the biggest moments in my live show now.”
