Justin Bieber Is ‘Doing His Best to Be Present’ for Hailey and Jack While Managing Anxiety

Justin Bieber has been open about his mental health journey this year, occasionally sharing updates on social media and even dedicating Swag track “Therapy Session” to his headspace. While fans have expressed concern about the singer in the past, a source told Entertainment Tonight yesterday that he is actually doing better these days.

Releasing new music helped. The source explained, “Justin is feeling better since his album release. Having creative outlets has helped him have some stability. He is still dealing with a lot of anxiety in his life, but he’s doing his best to be present in his marriage and for his son.”

Justin and his wife, Hailey, will celebrate the first birthday of their son, Jack, on Friday. The couple will also mark their seventh wedding anniversary on September 13.

Earlier this summer, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Justin and Hailey’s relationship had also improved, following reports from multiple outlets that the couple was having issues.

“Justin and Hailey are doing much better these days, [but] things were up and down for a bit,” the source said in July. “Even though they have gone through rough patches in their marriage, divorce was not on the table. Hailey loves Justin and the family they’ve built.”

In “Therapy Session,” Justin addressed public commentary about his mental health.

Druski, who collaborated on the track, acted as Justin’s therapist. He said, “Even sometimes where I know you’re trollin’ / And they don’t even understand it, like, “Oh my God, he’s fuckin’ losin’ his mind” / And it’s like, “Nah, I think he’s just being a human being / He’s enjoying social media like the fuckin’ rest of us / He’s just doing it his own way.”

Justin replied, “That’s been a tough thing for me recently. It’s feeling like, you know, I have had to go through a lot of my struggles as a human, as all of us do really publicly / And so people are always asking if I’m okay / And that starts to really weigh on mе.”
