“I Went Viral In A Pair Of Pants Like That” – Lainey Wilson Jokes About Viral Booty Video While Crowning “Cowgirl Of The Night” At Recent Show

She’s got jokes.

Recently, Lainey Wilson headlined Cavendish Beach Music Festival in Canada, where she brought up a little girl named Lexi for her nightly “Cowgirl of the Night” portion of the concert, which she’s been doing at every show on the tour. She brings a little girl from the crowd up with her to the stage, introduces them to everyone, and gifts the fan with a Lainey Wilson-styled cowgirl hat to match one of hers.

It’s really sweet, and in addition to all of that, she’ll have them recite her mantra to the crowd like so:

“I am beautiful. I am smart. I am talented. I can do anything. I am Cowgirl of the Night!”

Lexi told Lainey she was nine-years-old, and Lainey told her that it was going to be a great year because that was the year she wrote er first song, got her first horse and went to Nashville for the first time, in addition to receiving her first pair of bell bottoms, obviously a huge moment in her life, little did she know at the time.

I think we all remember Lainey’s viral “bell bottom” moment took place a couple years ago, when the Louisiana native got quite a bit of attention for her…assets. Her famous butt became a TikTok meme a while back, with dudes going crazy after pictures from a certain angle showed off her figure.

But it wasn’t just the guys, because girls everywhere were even jealous about what Lainey was hauling around back there. And Lainey took all the attention on her backside in stride, saying that if that attention would ultimately point people to her music, she was fine with it. (She also posted a hilarious dump truck meme as she tried to lean into her viral butt).

So when Lainey first brought Lexi onstage, who was wearing somewhat similar leopard print pants, Lainey was quick to point out that they reminded her of the pair of pants that went mega viral on the internet a few years ago:

“I think I went viral on TikTok in a pair of pants that look like that. Y’all remember that?”

I’m sure at the time it was overwhelming to have millions of people looking at your body like that, even though it was extremely positive feedback, though Lainey seemed to take it all in stride and had no issues making fun of herself and having fun with the whole situation.

In this business, you have to have a sense of humor if only to be able to get through the day sometimes, especially when you have as much going on as Lainey, so it’s funny to see that she’s still able to see the humor in it because it really did launch her into the national spotlight in many ways, as crazy as that sounds. She’s always said she doesn’t care how people find her music, as long as they do find it, and that definitely put her on a lot of people’s radars for the first time.
