Priscilla Presley is making her true feelings known about her former son-in-law.

The actress and ex-wife to the late King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, has released a new tell-all book with details about how she felt towards Michael Jackson. The late King of Pop previously married to Priscilla’s daughter Lisa-Marie Presley. It’s a wedding that the actress on Dallas disapproved of. Her book reveals her true thoughts on the singer, along with some shocking details about her and Elvis’s failed marriage.

Trust has been something that Priscilla has constantly struggled with throughout her life and for good reason.

Elvis had cheated on her numerous times while they were together. That is among the many reasons she has always had her guard up and had difficulty trusting others. She wasn’t entirely blameless either, it seems, as she’s stated she previously had an affair with the late Robert Kardashian. That along with her revelation that Elvis considered an abortion for Lisa-Marie, left Priscilla without a lot of confidence in people.

Her daughter marrying Michael Jackson in 1994 did little to restore her faith in humanity. In Priscilla’s book, she says she was “appalled” when learning of this. Michael had been accused of child molestation at the time. That speculation stayed with him for most of his life.

Priscilla says that she didn’t think her daughter truly loved Michael. According to her Michael had an ulterior motive for being with her. “He married her at a time when he desperately needed good publicity that depicted him as a desirable heterosexual man,” said Priscilla.

Lisa-Marie married Michael less than a month after obtaining a quick divorce from her first husband, the late Danny Keough, in May of 1994. Her marriage to the Beat It singer didn’t last long either, with Lisa-Marie filing for divorce less than two years after they wed. That was music to the ears of her mother, who said, “On January 18, 1996, Lisa filed for divorce. I could practically hear Elvis sigh with relief.”

Since that breakup, she has been married twice more, to actor Nicolas Cage and musician Michael Lockwood. Both ended in divorce, with the latter’s officially over in 2021.
