Country Music Superstar Named Super Bowl Concert Headliner

How Post Malone Transcended a One-Hit Wonder to Be a Music A-Lister

You’ve certainly heard that not everyone is on board with Bad Bunny performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in Santa Clara on Feb. 8.

Everyone seems to have an opinion on who should take the stage for the big game. Fans continue to sign the online petition for George Strait to perform. Jason Aldean is the favorite of former Green Bay Packer quarterback Brett Favre and Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt. In addition, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has floated Lee Greenwood’s name.

While the debate continues over the halftime headliner, it’s important to note that the other shows planned around the big game have a little something for everyone. The NFL is bringing Chris Stapleton, Sting, and Sierra Farrell to San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. They’re part of a three-night concert series running from Feb. 5 to 7.

In addition to the NFL’s concert series, Bud Light is bringing Post Malone for its own show on Feb. 6. Considering how well-received his halftime performance at the Dallas Cowboys-Kansas City Chiefs game on Thanksgiving was, many Bay Area fans will want to catch this show.

Post Malone Also Played the Bud Light Stage in New Orleans Last Year

It sounds like Bud Light and Malone are eager to reunite in California for another concert. In a press release, the singer said, “Getting back on the Bud Light stage during Super Bowl weekend is like coming home. I love it! We’ve got something really special planned for this year!”

“As the Official Beer Sponsor of the NFL, Bud Light knows best the excitement of Super Bowl weekend, and we show up every year to provide football fans with bucket-list experiences,” added Todd Allen, the Senior Vice-President of Marketing for the beer brand.

“We’re pumped to run it back with Posty, our buddy of nearly a decade, for what will be one of the most electrifying shows of Super Bowl weekend.”

If You Want To See Posty, There Is a Catch

This promises to be an amazing show. However, tickets to see Malone are not for sale; fans must enter a contest to win them.

If you are 21 or over and want tickets, go to Bud Light’s dedicated Instagram or Facebook post. Direct message or comment “#PostyBL2026” to receive entry information and details on how to win. Good luck!
