This country hitmaker spent deer season with the Drury Outdoors crew and snagged another big buck last year.

Morgan Wallen snagged quite the big buck.

The Drury Outdoors team shared some pics of the “I’m The Problem” singer with the 8-point Iowa Whitetail he caught on its social media page earlier this week. Outdoor television personality Mary Drury accompanied Wallen on the hunt last month, making it a memorable outing.

The post noted, “An 8 that took our breath away. We had a great time in Iowa closing out a wonderful season. Congratulations Morgan Wallen on an amazing Iowa whitetail. I appreciate your deep love for all things outdoors. It’s always a pleasure to share camp with you, my friend.”

This Isn’t the First Time Morgan Wallen Has Tracked Down a Deer

In fact, earlier in 2025, Wallen and Drury downed another deer in Iowa. Drury shared the details of that hunt in a YouTube video. Wallen snagged a deer on the second night of their trip.

Wallen often goes out with the Drury Outdoors team, whether it’s for turkey or deer hunting. Not only does Wallen rarely come back empty-handed, but Drury and his team also get to hang out with a true celebrity for a few days. The videos typically get a good number of views, too.

Wallen Loves the Outdoors

We reported in August of last year that in 2024, Wallen and Eric Church were part of an ownership group that purchased the 150-year-old Field & Stream outdoor lifestyle brand from Dick’s Sporting Goods and the media platform Recurrent.

The pair then relaunched Field & Stream magazine and announced plans to introduce an apparel collection inspired by the country artists.

“There’s nothin’ I love more than being with friends around a campfire, on a boat, or in a deer stand — and Field & Stream represents all of those to me,” said Wallen. “Being part of its future is incredible. We want to keep bringing people together outdoors, makin’ memories, for generations to come.”

The two also hoped to expand the brand with the Field & Stream Music Fest. The inaugural event was canceled in 2024 due to Hurricane Helene. The planned second year, which was set to feature Miranda Lambert, Riley Green, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Church, was also canceled, but this time it was for unknown reasons.
