Miranda Lambert is sharing the unexpected coincidence that she experienced right before going on stage Friday night.

The country music songstress performed at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Fla., on July 11 as part of Morgan Wallen‘s I’m the Problem Tour, where she had a sweet moment of serendipity involving one of her backing vocalists.

In an Instagram post shared on Saturday, July 12, Lambert revealed that Gwen Sebastion, her “friend and background vocalist,” recently lost her dad—but her late father’s presence was still represented during Lambert’s performance in a very special way.

“Last night I forgot my belt, and she told me that she had just happened to pack an extra,” Lambert recounted. “It was her father’s and had his name on it.”

“What an honor to wear that last night in Miami. Love you Gwennie!!” the 41-year-old singer added.

In the photos, Lambert showed off the meaningful belt, which had the name “Gerald” stamped on the back for Sebastian’s dad.

“That’s as sweet as it gets” one of her followers wrote in the comments.

Another person added, “That is a true friend & band mate. 🙌.”

“Well now I am crying,” someone else gushed under the post. “I am sure he is smiling down as you rock that belt.”

Another fan chimed in to tell Lambert, “no wonder it was so ✨magical! ✨”
