“It Ain’t My Fault When I’m Walkin Jaws Droppin”: Miranda Lambert’s “Cheeky” Quip About Her Onstage Skirt Mishap

You just have to love Miranda Lambert. Her revenge songs are sublime, she always sings with authentic passion, and she writes great songs, too. The other day, she had an unforeseen on-stage mishap that might have left someone else flustered or even somewhat teary. But not Miranda Lambert!

The “Kerosene” singer was recently opening for Morgan Wallen at Lumen Field in Seattle on his I’m the Problem tour. Her outfit was pure Miranda – boots, cowboy hat, and denim mini skirt. But at one point in the show, Lambert’s backside was a bit too visible if you happened to be present in the pit. Per the outlet, “A video of the incident has gone mega viral on TikTok, and you could now say that Miranda’s cheeks stole the show.”

Lambert Realizes Sometimes Things Go Wrong Mid-Concert

All sorts of things can go awry when performers are singing. The mic can quit. The weather can get stormy. Sometime, unfortunately, a fan will throw an object toward the stage. And of course, there is the dreaded wardrobe malfunction. As the outlet rightly points out, this was not really in that category. But it was embarrassing nevertheless.

Fans Commented on the Video Depicting Her Mishap

The pesky garment problem went viral on TikTok, giving Miranda Lambert fans a brief glimpse of her backside. Fans ate it up, leaving a bunch of witty comments. Some suspected it was a calculated stunt, not a spontaneous goof. Even so, most people thought it was a hoot.

“Somebody start a Go Fund Me for the camera man so we can tip him for this masterpiece.”

“she knows what she’s doing….it sells”

“she is better looking then Gwen any day”

“The smirk on her face shows she knows exactly what they are looking at”

“Now we know why front row is so expensive”

“apparently these women I country music now are afraid that their talents aren’t enough to sell tickets so they have to sell peep shows and disgrace themselves…. sad”

She Got the Last Laugh

Miranda Lambert reacted with customary aplomb. She transformed an uncomfortable moment into a triumph. Her own video showed her walking out on stage from behind, It had an ideal line from one of her songs, “Little Red Wagon.”

“I’ve been warning y’all about my backyard swagger since 2014. As for the text on the video, it read “it ain’t my fault when I’m walkin jaws droppin ooooo ahhhh.”
