Post Malone is the proud dad of a young daughter, whom he welcomed three years ago with his now ex-fiancée. In a new interview with GQ promoting his SKIMS collaboration, Malone opened up about parenthood, sharing that being a father is “bada—.”

“My kid’s three now,” he said of his daughter, whose name he has not publicly shared. “Isn’t that wild? She’s still alive. It’s crazy. I didn’t f— this up just yet, so it’s good.” Many parents will likely relate to the country star’s musings on children, which began with, “Kids are little sh—s, and they’re beautiful at the same time.”

“Being a dad, I take it a day at a time,” he continued. “I think it’s important that way. We’re learning every day. I don’t know what the hell I’m doing, and neither does she. She’s just figuring it out.”

Malone has a home on an expanse of land in Utah, and it was there that he conducted his interview and discussed some of his daughter’s favorite things to do on the property.

“My house has been under construction for about two years now, and we finally just finished the main bit of it,” he revealed. “And there’s this big hallway where she can ride her bike, and she has this little toy horse, and she rides up and down and just f—ing giggles the whole f—ing time. It is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. I’m pretty pumped on that. It’s pretty cool. It’s bada— to be a dad.”

Malone added that his daughter “loves” being on horses, even though she’s “too tiny to ride one,” and he hopes she becomes a fan of nature like he is. “Hopefully, she likes running around and making trouble in nature as well,” he offered. “I think it would be a beautiful thing.”

The Texas native’s daughter is also taking after her dad’s love of country music, with Malone sharing that his daughter is a fan of The King of Country Music. “She loves George Strait,” Malone said. “She loves the steel guitar, which I’m pretty pumped about. But she’s so funny. She has the funniest dance.”

And like many kids, she takes her opportunity to poke a little fun at her dad, with Malone sharing a story about being on the road on his The BIG ASS Stadium Tour 2025, which featured Jelly Roll as an opening act. “Jelly was opening up [on tour] and she went out to watch Jelly and her grandparents asked her, ‘Who’s a better singer, Jelly Roll or your dad?’ She goes, ‘Jelly Roll.’ And I know she’s f—ing with me,” he recalled. “She does that all the time. She goes, ‘I love you.’ I say, ‘How much?’ She goes, ‘A little.’ I go, ‘Oh, you little s—.’ And then she calls me a little s—, too. It’s pretty funny.:

Malone continued to gush about his daughter, calling her “f—ing hilarious.” “It’s unstoppable. She’s just the most beautiful creature to ever have existed on this earth,” he said. “And I can’t believe that… Well, I don’t deserve something like that, but it’s pretty cool that’s in my life.”
