Bo Bryan, the son of country music star Luke Bryan, has received his first Division I scholarship offer.

Bo recently announced that he has received an offer to play college football at North Alabama.

“After a great conversation on the phone with Coach [Brent] Dearmon I am blessed to receive my first D1 offer from the University of North Alabama,” Bo Bryan posted on X.

Bo attends Battle Ground Academy in Tennessee where he is entering his senior season. He threw for 336 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions as a reserve in 2025. Now, he is looking to be the starting QB in 2026 and to continue adding scholarship offers.

In addition to receiving an offer from North Alabama, he has received interest from SEC schools and took multiple visits last year, including one to South Carolina.

Bo recently competed at the Under Armour Next Football series in Atlanta. Afterwards, he spoke to the Times-Georgian about what it was like competing in the event.

“It means a lot, especially with family being here and everything,” he said. “With being born as a Georgia Bulldogs fan, going to camps like this in the state is something I’ve dreamed about forever.”

Bo receives plenty of attention when he attends events or visits schools, as does his father, who is one of the biggest stars in country music.

“I’ve been born into it, so I’m just used to it by now,” he said. “The thing I’ve kind of always been taught by my parents is to not be stuck in a shadow and just build your own thing. Make a name for yourself.

“I feel like I’ve done it pretty well. I’ve still got a ways to go, but I’m just going to keep going and just keep loving while I’m doing it. I’m enjoying this journey a lot.”
