Kelly Osbourne is shutting down claims about her father Ozzy Osbourne’s health.
Kelly, 40, shared a video on her Instagram Stories on Friday, July 11, detailing claims circulating online about her father’s health. “So, there’s this video going around on social media, and it’s supposed to be my dad, but it’s AI,” she began.
She continued, “And it has a voice like my dad’s David Attenborough or something. And it starts out saying, ‘I don’t need a doctor to tell me that I’m going to die. I know I’m going to die.’ What the f—- is wrong with you people? Why would you spend your time making a video like this?”
Kelly then clarified where her father’s health stands.
“He’s not dying,” she said. “Yes, he has Parkinson’s, and yes, his mobility is completely different than it used to be, but he’s not dying. What is wrong with you?”

Kelly then re-shared the AI-generated video, which referred to a suicide pact that her mother Sharon Osbourne previously spoke about having with Ozzy, 76, should one of them be close to death.
Sharon, 72, initially addressed the subject in her 2007 memoir Survivor: My Story – The Next Chapter, where she said that the couple would go to the Swiss physician-assisted suicide organization Dignitas, should either of them suffer from dementia.
The subject was raised again in a 2023 episode of the The Osbournes Podcast. During the family’s conversation, Jack Osbourne, 39, inquired if euthanasia was “still a plan” for his parents.
“Do you think that we’re gonna suffer?” Sharon replied, while laughing, before Jack probed: “Aren’t we already all suffering?”
“Yes, we all are, but I don’t want it to actually hurt, as well,” his mother added. “Mental suffering is enough pain without physical. So if you’ve got mental and physical, see ya.”
In another Instagram Stories video from July 11, Kelly said of the suicide pact, “Stop making articles or posts about how you think my parents are having a suicide pact. That was bulls— my mom said to get attention one time.”
“And my dad’s not dying. Stop,” she reiterated.
Ozzy recently announced his upcoming memoir, Last Rites, on Thursday, July 10. Last Rites will be available Oct. 7, 2025, wherever books are sold.
