Justin Bieber has opened up with a heartfelt confession, expressing feelings of being “too flawed” to fit into God’s grand design.

The 30-year-old superstar took to his Instagram story to share his inner turmoil, admitting the daily struggles he faces with self-doubt. He penned, “Every day I wake up thinking maybe I’m too flawed for God to utilize me in this beautiful story of life. Yet God uses me (flaws and all) every day. The same way He uses you! Our life is significant. God has a plan for us.”

Justin further elaborated on his decision to embrace grace over the pursuit of perfection. The Sorry hitmaker continued, “Nothing disqualifies us from experiencing God’s good plans for our life. I’m choosing today to allow God’s love and grace to shape my day and give me perspective, and not make my day about trying to prove myself. Join me if you want.”

This revelation comes on the heels of a concerning post by Stephen Baldwin, father of Justin’s wife Hailey, who shared (and later removed) an Instagram reel urging fans to pray for the young couple. The reel, originally created by Victor Marx of All Things Possible Ministries, implored for prayers for Justin and Hailey for “wisdom, protection and to draw close to the Lord.”

The spotlight has once again landed on Justin and Hailey Bieber’s faith. Their commitment to Christianity has been a staple in shaping their union, influencing their public personas, and informing their choice to abstain from sex before marriage – a decision Justin later described as part of his renewed devotion to God.

In a candid moment during a Facebook Live, Justin confessed, “If I could go back…I probably would’ve saved myself for marriage,” adding that he wished to “rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul.”

Since reuniting at a church conference in 2018, the Biebers have drawn strength from their mutual belief to help withstand the magnified glare of celebrity and the intricacies of their partnership. Hailey, who was raised with Christian values, hasn’t shied away from discussing the centrality of spiritual life in their relationship.

Speaking to Elle, she emphasized, “It’s the most important part of our relationship, following Jesus together. It’s everything.”

That spiritual bedrock has also fortified them amid health crises. In 2022, Justin faced Ramsay Hunt syndrome, leading to temporary facial paralysis, while Hailey suffered a brain blood clot. Nonetheless, Justin has repeatedly turned to Jesus for solace, conveying to his audience, “He is with me in the midst of the storm.”

Their spiritual journey was something Justin delved into in his YouTube documentary, JUSTIN BIEBER: NEXT CHAPTER, four years ago. The YouTube Originals special provided an uncensored look into the pop sensation’s relationship with his wife and his faith in God.
