Robert Irwin & Witney Carson Win Season 34 Of Dancing With The Stars

Dancing With The Stars contestants often talk about how the people on the show become like “family,” and that certainly seems to hold true with this season’s winners, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson.

Robert and Witney quickly became fan favorites from the start, impressing the judges week after week—an especially remarkable achievement given that Robert joined the show with no previous dance experience.

After topping the leaderboard on premiere night, the duo remained a steady presence near the top of the rankings, earning accolades for their undeniable charisma on the dance floor.

Despite battling some injuries going into the finale, on November 25, host Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that Robert and Witney were the champions of the season!

Robert & Witney’s Sweet Bond Beyond The Dance Floor

Early on in the season, Robert thanked fans for “all of the love” they showed them. It was evident him and Witney held a tight bond that surpassed the dance floor.

Robert said that he first met Witney when he was a child, during the time his sister Bindi competed on Dancing With The Stars.

“Well, I’ve known Witney for 10 years. Technically, I first met Witney only briefly, but when I was like a little tiny kid,” Robert told PEOPLE.

Since then, his appreciation and gratitude towards the professional dancer has only grown.

“This was everything I dreamed it would be and so much more, and Witney, you are the reason I could take this leap of faith and create memories that will last a lifetime,” Robert said after his big win.

Robert & Witney Reunite In Australia

Just a few months after their big win, Robert and Witney have officially reunited – but this time across the world!

On Tuesday (January 13), the duo posted a video on social media, wearing Robert’s traditional “zoo chic” wear, trotting through the Australia Zoo.

“We are BACK. Team IrWINit reunited,” Robert wrote.

Witney didn’t just come alone, though, she also brought her supportive husband, Carson, and two adorable toddler boys. The comments were gushing over the reunion, with many users saying they had been “waiting” for this.

“The IrWINit crossover episode we’ve been dreaming of 🐨🇦🇺🤝,” Expedia’s account wrote.

“I’m BEAMING watching this. Like a proud koala mom,” another fan said.
