Jesse Watters says Sydney Sweeney and Barron Trump will ‘create greatest political dynasty’
Jesse Watters said Barron Trump and Sydney Sweeney could get married since “every guy wants to look at her” amid the American Eagle advertisement controversy
Watters took it one step further, suggesting the actress and Trump’s youngest son should tie the knot
Fox News host Jesse Watters has suggested that 19-year-old Barron Trump and popular actress Sydney Sweeney, 27, could get married, saying they would “create the greatest political dynasty”.
The comment from Watters came amid Donald Trump called Sweeney “hot” on Truth Social. “Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the HOTTEST ad out there,” he wrote in a Truth Social post on Monday. “Go get ’em Sydney!”
“Every girl wants to look like her, and every guy wants to look at her,” Watters said on Fox News’ The Five. “And the Democrats think, ‘Wait a second, why don’t we call her a Nazi and boycott the company?’”
Watters said Sweeney is going to “marry” Barron Trump
Watters took it one step further, suggesting the actress and Trump’s youngest son should tie the knot.
“You know how this ends? She’s gonna marry Barron, and it’s going to create the greatest political dynasty in American history,” Watters added.
The American Eagle advertisement has caused quite the backlash on social media, with users alleging it holds connotations of white supremacy, caters to the male gaze, promotes harmful beauty standards and lacks diversity.
“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color. My jeans are blue,” Sweeney says in the advertisement.

American Eagle released a statement regarding the backlash making it clear the company stands behind the advertisement and Sweeney’s involvement in it.
“Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans is and always was about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story. We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone,” AE posted on Instagram Friday.
On Sunday, a reporter asked Trump about his thoughts on Sweeney reportedly being a registered republican.
“You’d be surprised at how many people are Republicans,” Trump stated. “That’s what I wouldn’t have known, but I’m glad you told me that. If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic,” Trump said on Sunday.
The vice president also commented on Sweeney’s ad, calling the actress a “all-American beautiful girl” while a guest on the Ruthless podcast.
