Jelly Roll’s Son Noah Finds Out Where His Dad Really Came From

jelly roll's son says his favorite jelly roll song

Jelly Roll was singing along to some rap in the same room as his 8-year-old son, Noah, who seemed rather surprised.

As far as little Noah is concerned, his dad is a country musician. However, he started in the industry as a rapper, and can still lay down when the situation calls for it. This seems to come as a surprise to Noah, was recorded hilariously reacting to it.

And Noah wasn’t just shocked, no. He seemed to get into it.

Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, faithfully keeps us all up to date with the family’s happenings. Thankfully, she recorded the moment everyone was eating together, and Jelly Roll started rapping at the dinner table.

The camera first panned to Bailee, who was in on the song and bopping alongside Jelly Roll. Then, the camera shifts over to Noah, who is giving the wildest side-eye to the camera. A little shocked and bemused, Noah looks to his mom for a reality-check.

Funnily enough, his shock subsides and he soon comes around. Before long, he’s nodding his head along to the beat, too.

“He still vibed tho,” Bunnie wrote in her caption. And vibed he did, albeit while eating his meal. You can watch the video below.

Fans React To Jelly Roll’s Son Discovering His Dad’s Other Talents

Fans of the country singer flocked to the comments to share their thoughts over Noah’s hilarious reaction.

“Staaahhppp! Noah was like, “What?!” and then like, “Heck, yeah!!”” one fan commented, writing a screenplay of Noah’s emotional arc.

“He’s like “You know what..hell yeah,”” wrote another. I feel like those were the exact words in his mind.

“Noah went from “WTF?” to ” ok, pops got flow,” and he got the rhythm too Noah gon out shine his daddy one day!” exclaimed another fan.

“Noah is adorable looks just like his daddy,” complemented a fan. And they do really look alike, so long as you ignore the tattoos.

“He needs to bring rapper jelly back just one more time pleaseeeeee,” pleaded someone else, pining for Jelly Roll’s often forgotten rapper side.

The fans loved seeing Noah discover who his dad used to be. Jelly Roll clearly still has it, so maybe we’ll see more of it one day.

Jelly Roll’s Son Reveals Which Song Of His Dad’s Is His Favorite

Jelly Roll attended the Sonic The Hedgehog 3 premiere with his son, Noah Duford, 8. While on the red carpet, Noah mentions his favorite Jelly Roll song, and I’m sure many would agree.

Entertainment Tonight caught the singer at the premiere where they got chatting. As it happened, his son, Noah, was around, and he was quickly ushered over. He stood next to his dad and answered the reporter’s questions.

As it turns out, Noah’s favorite character from the Sonic franchise is, naturally, Sonic the Hedgehog. His taste in music is a little more interesting, however.

“What’s your favorite song of dad’s?” the reporter asked Noah.

After some deliberation, he firmly said, “Creature!” A brilliant choice.

It’s not always that a singer’s children like their music, so it’s nice to see that little Noah has a favorite.

The reporter also asked Jelly Roll other things, like what they’re doing for the holidays. “As little as possible,” the singer joked. He said how they’re hoping to relax together, and “play some Fortnite.” Gotta love how good Jelly Roll is with his kids.

Jelly Roll Is As Big A Fan As Jim Carrey As The Rest Of Us

Something I thought worth mentioning is just how infatuated the country singer seems to be with legendary actor Jim Carrey. It’s hilarious to see such a huge star get starry-eyed over another celebrity.

Totally unprompted, Jelly Roll interjected the flow of their pleasantries by leaning into the mic and saying, “Jim Carrey’s behind us right now, I’m finna do a backflip.” I mean, this is a completely natural reaction to having Carrey near you.

“You’ve never seen a big man get this agile,” he joked. “I’m finna jump like ‘Jim, just notice me!’”

The icing on the cake is when the reporter tells him, “wait till you see him in this movie.”

He lets out what can only be described as the most elegant Wookie cry you’ve ever heard. His pure excitement is infection, now I want to watch the film.

He continued to get excited about the actor as the reporter told him more about the role. It’s hilarious to watch.
