Michael Bublé Reveals Major Career Shift With Surprise Country Album: All the Details
The Voice star spilled on Kylie Kelce’s podcast that he’s branching out with a completely new music genre.

During the December 4 episode of the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, the Season 28 Voice Coach stopped by for a quick chat with Kylie Kelce, and in shocking news, Bublé dropped a bombshell: After years of mastering jazz and traditional pop, he’s been secretly working on a country album.
“I don’t even know if I’m supposed to talk about this,” Bublé prefaced. “I love country music, and I have loved country music my whole life. I went to Nashville, I have a producer named Dann Huff… and I have made a love letter to country music.”
“It’s old-school, it’s not like, modern, it’s my interpretation,” he continued. “I have never had an experience that has been better musically. I am so excited to put out this record — I don’t know if ten people are gonna love it, but I don’t care.”

Bublé revealed that he has always been influenced by country music as an artist, and specifically called out his relationships with his fellow Voice Coaches as helping him make the jump. The Canadian crooner spoke highly of Kelsea Ballerini, Reba McEntire, and Blake Shelton and their guidance.
“I feel like I’ve earned the right to make a beautiful record,” he said.
The record isn’t complete quite yet, but it’s clear to fans that Bublé is immensely proud of what he’s accomplished in the studio thus far.
“It’s not even ready, I haven’t even finished it,” Bublé confessed. “But I’m telling you, this one is so special for me. It is so beautiful.”
At that point, Kelce wanted more details, like when exactly the album will be released. And although Bublé couldn’t give a precise date, he did tease her (and fans everywhere) about what he did know about his upcoming album.
“I just know that it’s so good,” he said.
