Pregnant Megan Fox Told Machine Gun Kelly She’s ‘Done for Good’ Ahead of Welcoming Their 1st Baby
Things are still rocky between Megan Fox and ex-fiancé Machine Gun Kelly as they get ready to welcome their first baby together.
“They don’t talk at great lengths but have exchanged a few texts,” a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly, noting that the pregnant actress, 38, has taken a step back from Kelly, 34, to “heal” and protect her peace prior to giving birth.
The Transformers actress has been “taking space apart from MGK and it’s been beneficial,” the insider explains.
Despite physically distancing herself from Kelly (real name Colson Baker), Fox “wants him to be a part of their child’s life,” the source says.

Fox, however, isn’t thinking about rekindling their romance. “[She] doesn’t want to be in a relationship with him,” the insider tells Us after they quietly parted ways in November 2024.
Kelly, for his part, isn’t ready to close the chapter on their romance. “MGK wants to get back together with Megan, but she’s told him she is done for good,” the source says.
Fox and Kelly sparked a romance in 2020 after they worked together on the film Midnight in the Switchgrass. The pair went public with their relationship after Brian Austin Green confirmed his and Fox’s divorce in May of that year. (Green, 51, and Fox share three sons: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8.)
The “Bloody Valentine” singer proposed in January 2022, but Kelly and Fox broke up and got back together several times before they were able to walk down the aisle.
In November 2023, Fox announced during a Good Morning America interview that she suffered a pregnancy loss that put a strain on her relationship with Kelly.
“I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and apart,” Fox said at the time. “Trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”
The duo did find their way back to each other and in November 2024 Fox announced that she’s pregnant with their first baby. (Kelly is already father to daughter Casie, 15, whom he shares with ex Emma Cannon.)
Us confirmed in December 2024 that Fox and Kelly broke up in “late November” after going public with their pregnancy.
“They were trying to make it work again after the pregnancy, but they are both too hot-headed and fell back into their constant fighting,” an insider exclusively told Us at the time. “They can’t get on the same page and it’s not easy for them being together.”
Later that month, a separate source told Us that Fox’s pregnancy didn’t factor into their split. The breakup reportedly came from deep-seated relationship issues.
“Megan has suspected he may be sleeping with someone,” the source said in December 2024, noting that Kelly has been “denying it.”
Despite their recent relationship turmoil, Fox appears to be embracing this next chapter as a single mother. “Everyone close to her thinks she’s happier and seems to be in better spirits,” the first source tells Us.
