Firerose Blasts Former Husband Billy Ray Cyrus for Alleged “Narcissistic Abuse”
Firerose has blasted her former husband, Billy Ray Cyrus, for what she calls “narcissistic abuse.” They were married from 2023 to 2024.

Firerose was briefly married to country singer Billy Ray Cyrus from 2023 to 2024. She is now ripping him on social media for what she terms “narcissistic abuse.” So far, no comment from Cyrus.
Firerose Posted a Video on Social Media
Along with a video she shared on
” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram, Firerose posted, “If you’ve survived narcissistic abuse, you’re not alone. It’s chilling how similar survivors experiences really are. Behind closed doors, it’s always the same playbook. Control, isolation, rage, manipulation, walking on eggshells, cognitive dissonance, feeling like the only person in the world that can be experiencing what you are. But I promise, God sees everything and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You are far stronger than you think. Love is always still real, even if what you’re experiencing right now is abuse, not love.”
The video starts by showing pics of Firerose seemingly in her younger days. Superimposed on the video are the words, “In your 20s, you’ll meet a 49-year-old man who convinces you you’re his soulmate. It is very important you do not believe him.”
She is also depicted in several loved-up video clip poses with Cyrus, including one from their wedding day. In some portions of it, she is by herself, obviously weeping, red-eyed, and emotional. The soundtrack features two famous, classic songs: “Silver Springs” by Fleetwood Mac and “Piano Man” by Billy Joel.
Their Union Was Short and Stormy
Cyrus, 64, and Firerose, 37, walked down the aisle in October of 2023. He filed for divorce in the spring of 2024. The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer cited “irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct,” according to court documents that were reported by People.
But the courtroom phase of their relationship did not end there. Per the outlet, Cyrus wanted a restraining order to keep Firerose away from his finances. She then claimed that he committed psychological and emotional abuse and sought spousal support.
The nasty back-and-forth between them kept going in mid-2024. Cyrus denied her explosive claims. Firerose, in turn, said she was “dependent on him financially,” per the outlet. Eventually, they ceased arguing, and their split became final.
Firerose’s Video and Post Drew Support
Wrote one person, “I love that women are publicly calling out their abusers in the 2020s and posting their faces!”
From another came this: “The fact that everyone is referring to him as Miley’s dad is amazing. Don’t let this man’s ego rise !!”
And a third commenter posted, “We love and support you.”
