Australian female racer becomes millionaire after turning into adult film star
Despite the controversy, this move has helped Renee Gracie earn millions of dollars. She will return to the track in 2023, continuing to conquer tournaments.
Racer Renee Gracie (30 years old) has just criticized the Australian Supercars racing series for becoming more and more boring and no longer attractive as before. Sharing with Wide World of Sports , she said: “Many people find Supercars no longer attractive because it has lost its excitement. Meanwhile, GT racing is new, attractive and more action-packed.” Photo: @reneegracieracing.
Gracie also confidently declared: “I think Supercars needs people like me to be more interesting.” She is currently a prominent face in GT racing. “GT doesn’t discriminate. They just need good people and passion,” the female racer said. Photo: Herald Sun.
Renee Gracie was born in 1995 in the suburb of Kuraby, south of Brisbane, Australia. From a young age, she was passionate about outdoor sports and actively participated in sports activities at school. In 2013, Gracie became the first female driver to compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship. In the 2014 season, she achieved 5 top 10 results and finished all races. In 2015, Gracie moved to the Supercars Dunlop Series with Paul Morris Motorsport, becoming the first full-time female driver in the series in 14 years. She finished the season in 18th place with 634 points. That same year, Gracie teamed up with Simona de Silvestro for the Bathurst 1000, marking the first time since 1998 that a female duo had entered the event. Photo: @reneegracie.
Despite her achievements and reputation, in 2019, Gracie announced her retirement from racing. She gave the reason that this profession did not make much money and that her image was being exploited by racing leaders for personal gain. Photo: @reneegracieracing.
After retiring, Gracie turned to adult films. “My dad supported me so I wasn’t worried about how my family would react. When I was racing, I struggled to make ends meet, but my new job was earning $500,000 a month,” she once told the Daily Telegraph . Photo: @reneegracie.
Despite the controversy, this move has earned Renee Gracie millions of dollars. In 2023, she announced her return to racing, debuting in the GT World Challenge Australia. Gracie entered the tournament in an Audi R8 GT3 LMS Ultra and won the Trophy Class. In 2024, she will compete again in the updated Audi R8 with teammate Paul Stokell. Gracie will return to the track at Sydney Motorsport Park from May 2-4. Photo: @reneegracie.
