Carrie, who was not the first choice star to replace Katy Perry when she stepped onto the panel for season 23 of the reality competition, looked “bored” and “unimpressed” as Miranda, 41, stormed the stage and thrilled the audience.

Miranda could be seen wearing a fitted and flared black jumpsuit as she crooned her hit Kerosene.

Rocking out to her country hit on stage, Carrie could be seen on the panel.

Nodding to the music, Carrie kept her face straight and stoic as she bopped to the beat.

Many fans quickly spotted Carrie’s “unenthusiastic” facial expressions as she watched Miranda perform.

“I’m sorry, if I was Carrie Underwood I would have been up on my feet dancing. She looked like she was watching an audition! It’s MIRANDA FREAKING LAMBERT,” said one person.

“LOVE this, Miranda you’re [flame emoji]! But Carrie coulda showed a li’l more enthusiasm,” slammed a second.

‘CARRIE LOOKED BORED’

A third person then echoed, “Carrie could have shown a little more enthusiasm for Miranda.”

While a fourth wrote, “Someone needs to tell Carrie that her inside thoughts are on the outside…”

“Carrie Underwood’s face,” said a fifth.

“Miranda> Carrie,” penned a sixth.

While a seventh said, “Carrie looked bored.”

And an eighth added, “Carrie don’t look impressed!”

This comes after The U.S. Sun revealed that the decision was “not unanimous” to have Carrie take the place of Katy Perry when she stepped onto the panel at the start of the season.

NOT THE FIRST CHOICE JUDGE

According to a production insider, Carrie was “not the network’s first pick to be a judge this season.”

“They spoke with a handful of other A-list artists in pop and country before landing on Carrie.

“It was not a unanimous decision,” the insider added.

Not only this, The U.S. Sun also revealed that the American Idol crew thinks Carrie’s “influence” is “ruining” the show’s legacy.

The hit singing competition, which Carrie won, tested out its first-ever faith-based episode on Easter Sunday.

Carrie apparently “pushed for” the faith-based episode despite there being a divide on the crew, who did not all agree with it.

While the three-hour special was beloved by some, others, including members of the crew, felt it was “inappropriate.”
