Jelly Roll’s fans melted over his joyful expression in a new video that showed him watching a beloved TV show from the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The country music star was filmed in his family’s home by his wife, Bunnie XO, as he stood behind a brown leather couch, his gaze focused on the TV screen in front of him and a huge smile splashed across his face. The 40-year-old singer’s 16-year-old daughter, Bailee, sat nearby as she too watched the screen.

After capturing their expressions, the camera turned to reveal that the show playing on their TV in that moment was Sex and the City. The video that Bunnie XO posted on TikTok on Feb. 22 was paired with an audio clip from the show’s main theme.

“Got the kid hooked on the show that raised me & apparently her dad did too 🤣,” the Dumb Blonde podcast host wrote in a text overlay included with the video.

Sex and the City aired for six seasons on HBO from 1998 until 2004. The show—which starred Sarah Jessica ParkerKim CattrallKristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon—has remained popular with fans in the two decades since it ended, with two spinoff movies later released in 2008 and 2010. More recently, a sequel series titled And Just Like That… premiered in late 2021.

Sex and the City fans seemed to be thrilled to see the “Need a Favor” singer watching one of their favorite shows—especially since his enjoyment of the content was so apparent.

“The way Jelly is smiling has me cracking up,” one fan wrote as another commented, “Jelly watchin 😂.”

“Jay looks like a happy puppy😭💕,” one TikTok user declared.

“His face!!! I love you guys!!!” another TikToker told Bunnie XO while a third observed how both Jelly Roll and his daughter were “locked in for real 🔥🔥🔥.”

Based on the “Wild Ones” singer’s expression, one fan suggested that he might have been “watching this as teen and denying it to his friends 🤣.”

“Jelly reminds me so much of my husband, finds joy in everything ❤️,” another fan shared.
