“They’re making history”: Fans celebrate as Morgan Wallen and Post Malone’s ‘I Ain’t Comin’ Back’ debuts at #1 on US Spotify with 1.9 million streams
Country singers Morgan Wallen and Post Malone’s new single I Ain’t Comin’ Back was released on April 18, 2025, and the number has debuted as a chart topper. The song will reportedly feature in Wallen’s new album, I’m The Problem, scheduled for release on May 16.
Pop Crave revealed on its X channel that the new single has debuted “at #1 on US Spotify with 1.958 million” streams. At the time of publishing, the song has dropped to #3 on the Top 50 USA chart on Spotify, with Drake’s Nokia and Kendrick Lamar’s Luther taking over the streaming numbers. However, Wallen’s track follows closely. At its time of release, the song reportedly opened at “#18” on the “Global Chart” on Spotify.

Morgan Wallen and Post Malone’s I Ain’t Comin’ Back debuts at #1 on US Spotify
I Ain’t Comin’ Back is Morgan Wallen and Post Malone’s second collaboration on a track. The duo had previously collaborated to release I Had Some Help in 2024. The singer is now promoting his forthcoming album, slated for release on May 16. In an interview with People, Morgan Wallen revealed they tried to “dig deep” and explore “difficult” themes for the album. He added:
“I feel like we did that. I feel like there’s a lot of stuff that I haven’t said in this record, which I’m really, really proud of.”
The singer will also kick off his tour supporting the album on June 20 in Houston and is scheduled to wrap up in September in Canada.
Morgan Wallen has set the stage for his new album and revealed recently that it will feature 37 tracks, including collaborations with Tate McRae, Eric Church, Hardy, Ernest, and Post Malone. Fans can pre-order the record and purchase other record-related merchandise from the singer’s official website.
In other news, Post Malone is currently on his Big Ass World Tour with Jelly Roll. The Circles singer is next scheduled to perform at Salt Lake City on April 29.
