Some of the mothers behind country music’s biggest stars stepped into the spotlight this week during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), held in Las Vegas from Dec. 4–13. On Monday, Dec. 8, Rodeo Quincy hosted a lively fashion show and brunch featuring the Junk Gypsy sisters, NFR contestants, and a $1,000 RQ shopping spree for the best-dressed attendee.

But beyond that, the fashion event shone the spotlight on several women who proudly helped raise some of country music’s brightest trailblazers. Ella LangleyMiranda Lambert, and Lainey Wilson’s moms were on hand to model outfits created by Quincy Eldridge, fashion designer and owner of the lifestyle and clothing brand.

The Moms Donned Matching Apparel

During the showcase held inside the Fontainebleau resort, the ladies, made up of Michelle WilsonHeather Langley, and Beverly June Hughes, strutted their stuff down the runway wearing matching Western-style black suits with large red roses embroidered into the apparel.

“Did this video make me shed a tear? Yes, it did,” Langley wrote on her Instagram Story while sharing the heartwarming moment.

Another clip posted to Instagram captured the trio stepping out together and waving to the audience. The three of them share a hug before exiting the stage in unison and arm in arm. Fans flooded the comment section of the post with praise, calling the moment  “iconic” and celebrating the unity of the three women.

“Okay, this is the most iconic thing I’ve ever seen,” one fan wrote, while another person captioned, “This is by far the best thing I’ve seen on the internet in a long time.”

“Amazing! So happy for these gorgeous moms of these talented female musicians…” A third person added. “They deserve this credit after all they provided the guidance to get their girls where they are today… proud mommas!”

Langley, Lambert, and Wilson All Share a Strong Bond

It’s no secret that the three country superstars share a meaningful connection, one rooted not only in friendship and collaboration, but in the strong women who raised them. Miranda and Ella share ties through a co-writing session on the song called “Choosin’ Texas.” Miranda and Lainey are also friends, who previously collaborated on a song called “Trailblazer.”

While their daughters have thrown themselves into music, the mothers all have pursued unique paths of their own. Michelle is a former schoolteacher, while Heather is a visual artist with a passion for painting and design. Lambert’s mother, Beverly, meanwhile, is a private investigator — something the country singer has talked about in previous interviews.

Along with the Rodeo Quincy fashion show and brunch, and of course, riding, barrel racing, and roping, this year’s NFR features an impressive series of events throughout the week, including performances, comedy, a free Cowboy Christmas event that has attracted over 375 exhibitors, and much more.
