Ella Langley Reveals The Smooth Pickup Line Riley Green’s Dad Said to Her

All this time, people have been speculating that Ella Langley and Riley Green are dating. Sure, they have smoking chemistry on “You Look Like You Love Me.” The music video didn’t make things much better either, only adding fuel to the fire. It would make sense if something were to happen between them. However, apparently, we’ve been worrying about the wrong guy all this time. Evidently, it’s Riley’s father that we should’ve been keeping an eye on this whole time.

Recently, Ella sat down for a press interview before her big night at the ACM Awards. There, she reveals an example of how Riley Green’s pops is a wizard with the pickup lines. It’s the kind of stuff I was tempted to try myself just because of how absurd it is. “What did he say? This is the first one he said, ‘Every time I see Ella, somebody’s gotta squirt a lemon in my mouth to wipe the smile off my face,’” Langley recalls. “He’s got a lot of ’em. Now I’m on the spot, so ask Riley, I’m sure he’s heard them enough times.”

I guess that charm runs in the family for Riley Green. Clearly, he doesn’t need help in that department since fans keep trying to pair him with Ella or Megan Moroney. But he doesn’t follow his old man in the pickup lines department. “I think I get nervous. Now, my dad… he’s got them. My dad throws out pickup lines on any girl he’s ever met,” he reveals in an interview. “He told some girl the other day she was so pretty he couldn’t hear out of his left eye. Which I don’t know what that means, but I like it.”

At this point, it’s abundantly clear that Ella and Riley are close, not only because of their hit song together. She’s even sort of responsible for the country hotshot keeping his signature mustache. “I will tell you, everyone’s excited about Riley’s mustache, you can thank me for Riley’s mustache, other than God, I guess, and his parents,” Langley says in the same press event.
