“You’re Done!”: Ella Langley Is Spending Too Much Money on Candles, and Her Business Manager Is Stepping In

Ella Langley got real at the CMAs this year. The country singer talked about some of the bigger purchases she’s made since her rise to fame.

Ella Langley Says Her Dad Always Calls to Check if Any Rumors Are Actually True

“My business manager was like, ‘No more splurge purchasing, you’re done!’” Ella Langley shared at the CMAs. Female artists absolutely swept at the awards this year – including Langley, who revealed that she needs to hold herself accountable when it comes to spending. If not, it seems like her team will do that for her.

When asked about her major purchases since making it big, Langley revealed that she’s a sucker for a candle store. “Ya know, $200 at a candle store, that’s enough. That’ll do it,” she told Adison Hager. “I like sweet scents. But I also like clean, like a little eucalyptus candle for my bathroom. I need as much Zen as I can get.”

The singer also shared that she’s been enjoying a bigger purchase she made – a house she bought in Alabama. At the Ryman, Langley revealed that taking time off this year allowed her to enjoy the fruits of her labor.

“I got to read my Bible for two straight weeks. I got to go back home and spend more time there than I had spent at home since I left.” She told her audience, “I bought my first house, and I got to sit in it for the first time. I got to sit there and see what is happening in my life and the thing that I’m working so hard for, and how it is changing my life and my family’s life.”

Now that she’s a four-time CMA winner, she can find some time to rest and truly relish in her accomplishments. And if a few new new purchases come along with that, it can’t be the worst thing in the world.

Wilson, Langley, and Moroney Dominate at 2025 CMAs

Langley wasn’t the only person who swept at the CMAs this year. Lainey Wilson, who was tied with Langley for six nominations, had a lot to say about the young artist and how she sees herself in her in many ways.

In an interview with iHeartCountry, Wilson shared, “She’s kind of like my little sister in a way, and I see a lot of myself in her. But she’s got this spunk to her that I’m like, ‘there ain’t no stoppin’ this chick,’ which I love to see.” Wilson described Langley as “a go-getter” and “one of the most talented people.” “She’s just got it going on,” Lainey shared. “I’m proud of her.”

Wilson, who ended the CMAs this year with five new trophies, offered advice to both Langley and Megan Moroney, as someone who’s been in their shoes. “I’m buddies with Megan Moroney and Ella Langley and to watch their stars just soaring, it’s really really cool to see.” Wilson shared, “So, my advice to them is really just to keep your head down and work hard, but also…acknowledge that their hard work has gotten them to this point…and not letting the voices of the world get them down.”
